Longerenong College appoints new General Manager

Skillinvest is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacinta Langdon as the new General Manager Longerenong College.

Jacinta brings 25 years of experience in the agricultural, land management, and environmental industries. Her diverse roles have included business owner, agronomist, extension officer, and trainer. Jacinta’s passion for agriculture and youth was evident in her last role, which she focused on attracting young people to the agriculture industry. She has successfully built strong relationships with schools, training organisations, industry, and farmers.

From regional Victoria, Jacinta is deeply involved in her local community and has served as a leader in the CFA and as an active committee member of the local football, netball and cricket clubs.

Skillinvest Chief Executive Officer Darren Webster commented, “We are thrilled to welcome Jacinta to Skillinvest and Longerenong College. Her extensive experience and dedication to the agricultural sector make her an ideal fit for this role. We are confident that under her leadership, the college will continue to thrive and inspire the next generation of agricultural professionals.”

Jacinta expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, stating she is both honored and privileged to have the opportunity to lead Longerenong into the future and contribute to its ongoing success and impact in agriculture training and education.

“I’m leading a great team of very dedicated people and hope that my passion for agriculture and my commitment to nurturing young people will equip our students with the skills and attitude to make a significant impact in the agriculture industry across Australia and internationally.” Ms Langdon said.

Jacinta commenced as General Manager at Longerenong College on Monday 26 August and is looking forward to meeting students, staff, and industry connections.
