Road Worker

• Casual role based at the Dandenong depot
• Full time hours Mon - Fri + overtime opportunities
• PPE supplied & maintained annually

Skillinvest is seeking an experienced Road Worker to join one of Victoria's leading road maintenance providers. You will be responsible for servicing roads throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and will enjoy physical outdoor work, operating power tools & machinery and is willing to learn.

Duties will include

• General Labouring
• Compacting, leveling, and spreading of materials to form roads
• Routine Maintenance
• Truck driving
• Removal of obstructions
• Required for overtime and after hours call outs

Essential Skills

• White Card
• Medium Rigid Truck Licence
• Traffic Management Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencing
• Clean driving history
• Able to pass pre-employment checks including medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening & police check

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Plant operator's competency
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Experience in a similar role advantageous
