Road Worker

• Casual full-time position + overtime opportunities available
• PPE supplied & maintained annually
• Based at the Ouyen Depot

Skillinvest is seeking an experienced Road Worker for a casual position with one of Victoria's leading providers in road maintenance services, construction and civil works. Working amongst a friendly and dynamic crew, you will enjoy physical outdoor work, operating power tools & machinery and be willing to learn.

Duties:

• General Labouring
• Compacting, leveling, and spreading of materials to form roads
• Routine road maintenance
• Truck driving
• Removal of obstructions

Mandatory requirements:

• Current Construction Induction White Card
• Current Medium Rigid Truck Licence
• Current Traffic Management Certificates
• Demonstrated industry experience
• Physically fit and able to meet manual demands of role
• Be available to attend after hours call out (Emergency responses)

Advantageous skills & experience:

• Plant Operator Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Chainsaw and Polesaw Training

Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol Screening, Police Check and Driver History Check.
