Retail Assistant

• Based at Murtoa and Rupanyup store locations
• Part-time position, varying shifts Mon - Sat
• Immediate start available for the right candidate

Skillinvest has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Assistant to join a local hardware store across their Murtoa and Rupanyup sites. If you are a personable individual who loves working with people, this could be the job for you!

Duties

• Customer service - greeting/assisting customers, cash/Eftpos transactions
• Stock management - ordering stock, stock take, replenishment, merchandising
• Use of computer and sales systems/software
• General cleaning and upkeep of store
• Manual handling tasks

Skills & experience

• Drivers licence
• Forklift licence (desirable)
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual requirements of role
• Basic computers skills and competent with Microsoft Suite
• Team player and friendly/approachable nature
• Excellent communication/customer service skills

This is a great opportunity to join a family owned and operated business and contribute to your local community. There will be requirements to work Saturday shifts on a rotating basis along with varying shift Mon-Fri.
