Marketing & Business Development Coordinator

  • $78,244 - $ 92,156 (Full time equivalent) dependant on experience and qualifications.
  • Position will be 0.6-0.8 of an FTE
  • Travel required

The Role:

Longerenong College provides hands on agriculture training within the setting of a 1100ha commercial mixed farming. The College exists to deliver exceptional employment, education and training services for the agriculture industry and beyond.

The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator is responsible for all marketing channels including social media, media and marketing. You will lead the student recruitment and enrolment process drawing students from across Eastern Australia, WA and International Students. You will be responsible for all promotional events, marketing, and public relations for the College.

In addition you will:

  • Maintain and foster strong relationships with government, media, Skillinvest Leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Attend career events, visit schools, promote the College interstate to grow student numbers.
  • Work with the GM to build relationships with sponsors.
  • Manage the scholarship program for students and donors.
  • Manage the prospective student list from first contact through to enrolment.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of Longerenong College website
  • Promote the College as a events facility
  • Be responsible for the growth of student numbers
  • Enhance the brand of Longerenong College
  • Foster relationships with alumni

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Minimum 3 years working in a Marketing and/or Communications
  • Agriculture or Training role, and related qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience working with digital marketing mediums
  • High level written communication skills with the ability to write efficiently, creatively, clearly, concisely and accurately for various audiences
  • High level verbal communication and interpersonal skills in order to develop positive relationships within and outside the organisation
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of web site management - technical and operational
  • Demonstrated experience in generating business opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability building relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Marketing and/or Communications
  • Employee Working with Children Check
  • Australian Federal Police Check
  • Current Victorian driver's licence
