Maintenance and Grounds Officer

• Salary range $69,716 - $74,479
• 30 hours per week - Monday - Friday

Longerenong College is seeking a professional Maintenance and Grounds Officer to join the team. In this role you will be working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Farm Manager undertaking a number of duties to ensure equipment, facilities and grounds are maintained to a high standard. In addition, you will be responsible for addressing hazards to ensure OH&S hazards are minimised and safety standards are upheld.

This is an all-rounder hands on maintenance role and would suit a tradesperson who is looking for a career change. You'll be required to perform general repairs in carpentry, plumbing, fencing, building and other duties as directed. The role will also require you to perform basic administrative tasks relating to OH&S and maintenance.

About you:

• You will be a team player and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• You will be able to undertake general maintenance duties and have a trade background.
• Be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Truck license (desirable)
• Forklift license (desirable)
• Have a can-do attitude and strong work ethic
