Farm Hand

• Casual position based between Warracknabeal and Horsham
• Flexible work hours 2-5 days per week
• Immediate start available

Skillinvest is currently seeking a Farm Hand for a casual position with a local mixed farmer. You will work closely with the owner to assist with cropping, harvesting, livestock care and general maintenance of farm equipment.

Duties

• Fencing
• Tractor and other farm machinery operations
• Basic engineering/repairs
• Rousing livestock
• General farm/labouring duties

Requirements

• Car licence essential, HR or HC preferred
• Physically fit and able to meet manual requirements
• Flexible availability and able to work varying hours
• Prior experience in farming or willingness to learn

This role is suited to someone seeking flexible and casual hours. Depending on the season and weather conditions, hours will fluctuate each week. Long term employment available for the right candidate.
