Skillinvest is currently seeking a 2nd or 3rd year Electrical Apprentices looking for an opportunity to complete
a Certificate Ill Electrotechnology.
Based locally in Dingley Village, you will receive ongoing mentoring whilst working towards becoming a
trade qualified Electrician.

Our host is a well established family business specialising in the clean energy sector focusing on renewable
energy and energy efficiency with projects on the go across Melbourne. You will receive one on one
training work alongside a skilled A Grade Electrician and will gain valuable first hand experience in a safe
and professional environment.

Duties

• Preparation and installation of new solar panels and batteries
• Connect electrical equipment, switches, outlets, fittings, and circuit breakers.
• Installing PV systems and energy storage solutions
• Upgrades + maintenance.
• Maintenance of installation of Security & CCTV Systems
• Other duties as directed.

Requirements

• Drivers Licence
• Car preferred (or be able to get to Dingley)
• Previous experience(s) using power tools.
• Have initiative and critical thinking skills.
• Very good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working at heights
• 2nd or 3rd year Electrical apprentice
