Interacting with Livestock In-Field

The Farm and Animal awareness course is designed by Longerenong College to increase your awareness of working around animals when you are on farm.
 
Farmers, farm workers and farm visitors can easily be injured by livestock. Cattle, pigs, horses, sheep, dogs and other farm animals can be unpredictable and should be treated with caution at all times. The welfare of the animals is also of upmost importance.
 
To prevent accidents to you or caused by you, be aware of your situation, the environment and animals when you enter a farming property.
