OVERVIEW
This qualification reflects the skills and knowledge for supporting jobs within the horse racing industry. It allows for specialisation in various roles including stablehand (harness or thoroughbred), stud hand (breeding), track maintenance and racing administration. Individuals with this qualification carry out routine tasks under supervision where the work is predictable and structed with limited judgement requirements. Some licensing or registration requirements may sit within this qualification. Users are advised to check with the relevant Principal Racing Authority for current requirements.
