AEN Apprentice Training Awards finalists announced

Skillinvest is pleased to announce that they have four trainees named as finalists across two categories for the AEN Apprentice Training Awards.
This event, to be held at the Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne on Wednesday 23 November, aims to showcase and highlight trainees and apprentices, and how they have displayed hard work and resilience within their roles.
This year, a record number of over 100 nominations were submitted for the AEN Awards.
Skillinvest finalists include:
Maddix Hughes, for the Trainee of the Year Category. Maddix is completing a Certificate III in Business with host employer Home Instead in Horsham.
Jenaya Bartlett, Jaynaya Miller and Aimee Hall are all finalists in the Inspiration Award: Indigenous Student of the Year.
Jenaya Bartlett is completing a Certificate III in Business with Victoria Police and is working at the Victoria Police Frankston office.
Jaynaya Miller is completing a Certificate IV in Business with host employer Lendlease Building Contractors Pty Ltd.
Aimee Hall is completing a Certificate III in Business with Victoria Police and is working at the Kerang Police Station.
All Skillinvest finalists have been acknowledged for their outstanding contribution to their training and have been highly praised by their host employers.
Skillinvest Chief Executive Officer, Darren Webster, congratulated the award finalists.
“With a record number of nominations for the awards this year, being nominated as a finalist is a tremendous achievement, regardless of the outcome.
“We are very proud of the dedication that all of our nominees have put into their training and roles with their host employers, it is wonderful to see this being acknowledged.” Mr Webster said.
Award winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 23 November 2022.
