Carpentry Apprenticeship

Skillinvest offers an exciting opportunity to kick-start a career in Carpentry with our well-established host employer. As part of this apprenticeship, you'll undertake a Certificate III in Carpentry, equipping you with essential skills for a successful career in construction. Work across S.E and Metro Melbourne on domestic renovations and new home builds.

Duties Include:

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
• Fitting exterior wall claddings and window frames.
• Setting up scaffolding
• Concrete formwork, placing, and finishing.
• Lifting and moving materials

Requirements:

• Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have attention to detail.
• Driver's licence and own vehicle.
• Basic to intermediate experience with hand-tools and drills
• Willing to travel to sites across SE Metro Melbourne.
• Certificate II in Building Construction or Construction Pathways certification preferable.

This role is paying junior rates accordance with the relevant Modern Award.
